The Mouteki EA follows a trend-based strategy that relies on identifying trend lines on price charts. It determines two types of trend lines: the top trend line (sloping downward) and the bottom trend line (sloping upward). The strategy involves entering long trades when the price opens above the top trend line and entering short trades when the price opens below the bottom trend line. The take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL) levels are determined based on the projected price movement from these trend lines.
How It Works:
Trend Line Determination: The EA calculates two trend lines - the top trend line and the bottom trend line. The top trend line is defined by two points: the most recent high and the most recent high that is higher than the first point. The bottom trend line is defined similarly, using two low points.
Entry Conditions:
Long Trade: It enters a long trade when the price opens higher than the top trend line. The entry price is the first open price above the top trend line.
Short Trade: It enters a short trade when the price opens lower than the bottom trend line. The entry price is the first open price below the bottom trend line.
Profit Projection: The EA calculates the profit projection by determining the distance between the lowest low (for long trades) or the highest high (for short trades) and the respective trend line.
Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL):
TP is calculated by adding the profit projection to the entry price.
SL is calculated based on the profit projection:If the profit projection is less than 90 pips, SL is set to half of the profit projection for a 2:1 win/loss ratio.
If the profit projection is greater than 90 pips, SL is set to 33% of the profit projection for a 3:1 win/loss ratio.
Trade Management:
If the profit in a trade reaches a specified threshold (ProfitToMoveSL pips), the EA moves the SL to a positive value (PositiveSL pips).
If a new trade setup occurs in the same direction as an existing trade, the TP and SL levels are adjusted accordingly.
The EA may add a new position based on the new setup if only one trade exists.
Trade Closure Conditions:
TP is hit.
SL is hit.
A new trade setup occurs in the opposite direction of the existing trade.
Timing: The EA checks for trade entry conditions, trade modifications, and SL adjustments during the first 10 seconds of every 4-hour period. This timing is chosen to align with potential trading opportunities.
Parameters:
AlertsOn: This parameter determines whether the EA will generate alerts (e.g., pop-up messages) when specific conditions are met during trading.
MultiPositions: It controls whether the EA allows multiple positions (scaling in) for the same trade direction. If set to "True," it can open additional positions in the same direction; if set to "False," it will only have one position per trade direction.
LotsPerTrade: This parameter specifies the lot size for each trade. It defines how much volume or size each trade will have.
ProfitToMoveSL: This parameter represents the profit threshold at which the EA will move the Stop Loss (SL) to a specified positive value.
PositiveSL: It sets the positive value to which the SL is moved when the profit reaches the "ProfitToMoveSL" threshold.
SL_Offset: This parameter allows you to set an additional offset to the Stop Loss (SL) level. It can be used to fine-tune the SL placement.
TP_Offset: Similar to the SL offset, this parameter allows you to set an additional offset to the Take Profit (TP) level. It can be used to fine-tune the TP placement.
LondonOpen: This parameter, when set to "True," enables trading during the London session. It defines whether the EA should consider trading opportunities during this specific session.
NewYorkOpen: When set to "True," this parameter enables trading during the New York session. It determines whether the EA should consider trading opportunities during this session.
TokyoOpen: Setting this parameter to "True" enables trading during the Tokyo session. It specifies whether the EA should consider trading opportunities during the Tokyo session.
For a potentially winning setting, you may start with the following parameters:
Currency Pair: EUR/USD Time Frame: 1-hour (H1) Minimum Budget: $1,000
EA Settings:
AlertsOn: True
MultiPositions: False
LotsPerTrade: 1
ProfitToMoveSL: 40
PositiveSL: 10

Please note that the effectiveness of any EA can depend on market conditions and your trading strategy.
