Modify existing order
Hi everyone, I have i doubt regarding modifying pending orders. I am using three EAs on three different charts. I use TotalOrder() function to find out the number of existing orders and only when it is less than one i send a new order. Now the problem here is how to identify orders placed for each symbol?
Modify existing order is natural of Forex trader. Forex is fluctuation market so may time modify order is a intelligent work for all trader in Forex. Pending order, modify order, take profit , stop loss is a basic trading information in Forex. we should this matter be aware.
Each order in MT4 has a unique ticket number, and when you place an order, you can specify a custom comment. Use this comment field to tag each order with the EA or the symbol it's related to. This way, when you're checking orders with TotalOrder() or any other function, you can filter them based on these comments.
This technique helps you identify which orders belong to which EA or symbol, keeping everything organized and avoiding confusion. Hope this helps!
