Hi Friends, Almost everyone here, we know that greediness ruin the traders capital. Everyone suggest to avoid that. but i think it is impossible for maximum. Do you ever test how much greed inside of you? Don't take it personally. Just feel free to share with us honestly. Last week i found a way to test it. That's why i post this thread today.
Almost every traders, they target a range of profit for each orders. My personal target is not more 15 pips. last week i place an sell order for EUR/GBP. I had 7pips profit just before US market open. when the market was open, it falls almost 25 pips within 5 minutes. then my total profit turns 30pips. i decided close it, but saw that market fall again and my profit turns 55 pips. After that i closed that order and gained 55 pips profit.
though at end of day, i saw if i hold that, i could earn more 20 pips. but suddenly i felt that i my greed almost move me 4o pips long. Now how much it takes you if you are on that situation?
In my early stage of trading, I struggled a lot because ofmy greed! Actually, then I couldn’t control my emotion during my trading sessions, I used aggressive trading lot size to recover my losing trade positions but no good result! BY the way, monthly webinar series of trade24 broker assisted me a lot to make pro trading personality! Now I am confident to fight with my greed and emotions!
