Setting Section 1: Positive Equity Alert (Sound Notification).
MT4talk.com Forex EA (Strategy Builder Edition) tutorial: Setting Section 1: Positive Equity Alert (Sound Notification).
In this particular setting section, you have the option to configure a sound notification that will alert you when the equity reaches a certain level. This feature can be useful if you prefer to manually close all trades using the "Close ALL" button on the chart.
It is important to note that you do not have to close all trades when the equity is in profit, but it is helpful to be aware of the equity status. For instance, if you are in the kitchen, the sound notification will inform you if your equity is in profit, prompting you to check your computer.
This setting is designed for traders who prefer to maintain control over their trading activities.
There are three different settings available in this section:
Enable or disable the sound alert (True/False).
Set the profit threshold for the alert (e.g., 0.55 cents).
Choose the frequency of the alerts (e.g., every 1 or 2 minutes).
IMPORTANT: This setting applies to every 0.01 lot size position opened.
For example, if the total lot size opened is 0.40, and you set an alert at 0.55, it will trigger an alert at 40 x 0.55 ($22).
Another example: If you set the alert at 0.1 cents and have a total lot size opened of 1.00, it will trigger an alert at $10.
