thanks for share guide us about good take profit and stop loss and also time frame
I noticed that livefx shared an EA called STRADDLE NEWS. You can adjust it to fit your needs just right.
It can handle a bunch of things:
StopLoss: Protect your investment by setting a stop loss.
TakeProfit: Lock in your profits by setting a take profit level.
TrailingStop: Let your profits run by using a trailing stop.
PipsAway: Send pending orders a certain distance away from the current Bid and Ask prices.
BalanceUsed: Adjust your lot size based on your available balance.
SpreadOperation: Control the spread allowed for pending orders.
Slippage: Set the slippage allowed for your trades.
How to Use It:
You get to customize it. You can set all these features to match your trading style and strategy. It's like tailoring a suit to fit you perfectly.
So, this EA is like your personal trading assistant, making sure you can set things up your way. If you've got questions or need advice about take profit, stop loss, or time frames, it's got your back. It's all about helping us become better traders.
It sounds interesting, but I have a bunch of questions. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!
StopLoss and TakeProfit, I've heard these terms, but I'm not sure how they work or why I'd need them.
What's the difference between TrailingStop, PipsAway, and Slippage? These sound a bit technical.
Can someone break it down for a newbie like me?

Hey JessA,
Absolutely, I'd be happy to help you out and break things down in a newbie-friendly way.
StopLoss and TakeProfit: Think of these like your safety nets.
StopLoss: It's a level you set to limit your losses. If the trade goes against you, it'll automatically close to prevent big losses.
TakeProfit: This is where you lock in your profits. When your trade reaches this level, it closes to make sure you don't miss out on the gains.
TrailingStop: Picture a moving finish line.
When your trade is in profit, the TrailingStop moves up (or down for a short trade) to "lock in" some profit. If the price reverses, the trade closes at the new TrailingStop level. It helps you secure more profit if the market moves in your favor.
PipsAway: This is like setting a distance.
PipsAway lets you choose how far from the current market price you want to place pending orders. If you don't want to jump in right away, this gives you some space.
Slippage: Imagine a little delay.
Slippage accounts for small differences between the expected and actual execution prices when you enter a trade. It's a way to handle those tiny delays.
I hope this helps clear things up for you. If you have more questions or need further info, feel free to ask. Trading can seem complex at first, but with time, it becomes clearer. We've all been beginners, and it's a journey worth taking.
Hey BJay44,
Thanks a bunch for breaking it down for me! Your explanation makes things so much clearer.
I'm really starting to feel more confident about trading. It's great to have awesome folks like you to guide us newbies.

You're absolutely welcome! I'm glad I could help you understand things better. That's what this trading community is all about, helping each other grow and learn.
My trading has been going decently. I'm still learning and adapting, just like you. One tip I'd share is to never stop learning and testing different strategies. And don't let the occasional bumps in the road discourage you; they're all part of the journey.
It's always fun to chat with fellow traders, and I'm here anytime you want to share experiences or discuss trading.
