The @10_20_sell_mm.mq4Forex EA is designed to open short positions (sell trades) in the market. It calculates the entry point, stop loss, and take profit levels for each trade. The trade size can be adjusted using money management rules. It aims to profit from downward price movements.
How It Works:
The EA calculates the entry point to initiate a short trade. It uses the current Ask price minus the spread and sets a stop loss and take profit level.
The EA offers two money management options. If "MoneyManagement" is enabled, it calculates the trade size based on a percentage of your account balance and risk (defined by the "risk" parameter). If "UseOldMM_Code" is set to true, it uses the old money management code, and if set to false, it uses a new method to calculate the trade size based on stop loss.
The EA sets a stop loss and take profit level for each trade. These levels can be adjusted using the "StopLoss" and "TakeProfit" parameters. The EA also ensures that these levels are within the broker's allowed limits.
Once all parameters are calculated, the EA opens a short trade (sell order) in the market with the specified trade size and levels for stop loss and take profit.
Setting Up the EA:
To set up the EA, follow these steps:
Install the EA in your MetaTrader 4 platform.
Open a chart for the currency pair you want to trade.
Drag and drop the EA onto the chart.
In the EA settings, you can adjust parameters such as "StopLoss," "TakeProfit," "MoneyManagement," "risk," and "UseOldMM_Code" according to your trading preferences.
Ensure that the "Expert Advisors" button is enabled on the MetaTrader 4 platform.
The EA will automatically analyze the market and execute short trades based on your chosen settings.
