Entry Conditions:
Moving Averages (MAs): This EA employs two MAs, namely MovingAvg1 and MovingAvg2. When MovingAvg1 crosses above MovingAvg2, it generates a Long entry signal. This is a common and widely used trend-following technique.
Awesome Oscillator (AO): The EA also considers the AO. A positive AO value indicates a bullish momentum. When AO is above 0, it complements the Long entry signal.
Money Flow Index (MFI): MFI is crucial for identifying overbought and oversold conditions. This EA waits for MFI to reach or exceed 60 before considering a Long position.
Exit Conditions:
Long Positions: The EA looks to exit Long positions when the AO falls below 0. This suggests a change in momentum, prompting an exit.
Short Positions: On the flip side, when AO turns negative (below 0), the EA considers this as an opportunity to exit Short positions.
MFI for Exit: For both Long and Short positions, MFI plays a role in the exit strategy. When MFI drops to 40 or below, it's seen as an exit signal. This prevents the EA from overstaying in a trade.
By combining these factors, the EA aims to capture trends and minimize exposure during uncertain market conditions.
