This Expert Advisor employs a straightforward yet effective strategy - trend following.
The EA keeps it simple, making it perfect for traders who are just starting out. It uses Moving Averages to identify trends, and when it spots a trend, it jumps in with precision.
You have control over your risk. You can choose between different money management modes:
MM_Mode < 0: Fractional lots based on your account balance and a risk factor.
MM_Mode > 0: Fixed lots with a risk factor.
MM_Mode = 0: Use a fixed lot size defined by 'LotsIfNoMM.'
The EA identifies trends using two Moving Averages - a 6-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and a 12-period Simple Moving Average (SMA). When the 6-period EMA is above the 12-period SMA, it considers an upward trend. Conversely, when the 6-period EMA is below the 12-period SMA, it identifies a downward trend.
It looks for specific entry points in the market:
In an upward trend, it places a Buy order when the current Bid price is lower than or equal to the lowest low of the past 6 bars.
In a downward trend, it places a Sell order when the current Bid price is higher than or equal to the highest high of the past 6 bars.
Stop Loss: The EA sets a Stop Loss level for each order, helping to manage risk.
Adjustable Parameters:
LotsIfNoMM: Lot size if no money management is applied.
StopLoss: Stop Loss in pips.
Slip: Maximum slippage allowed.
MM_Mode: Money management mode (explained above).
MM_Risk: Risk factor for money management.
