Get Ready to Make Some Money with Firebird v0.60 EA!
Firebird v0.60 is a clever trading Expert Advisor (EA) that uses a 10-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) to create a channel. It can work with either closing prices for more trades or high and low prices for safer ones. When the price breaks out of this channel, the EA takes a position in the opposite direction of the current trend. If the trade goes against us, it opens an extra position to average out. About 50% of the trades last a day, 45% last 2-6 days, and 5% go on for longer or end up in losses.
How this EA Works:
Firebird v0.60 calculates a channel using a 10-day SMA, shifting it up and down by 2%. You can choose to base this on either closing prices (for more trades) or high and low prices (for safer trades). When the price breaks out of the channel, it opens a trade in the opposite direction of the trend. If that trade goes against you, it adds another position to average out the losses.
Setting Up the EA:
Download the mq4 file for Firebird v0.60.
Open MetaTrader 4 (MT4).
Go to "File" > "Open Data Folder" > "MQL4" > "Experts" and paste the downloaded mq4 file there.
Restart MT4.
Drag and drop the EA onto the chart you want to trade.
Set the following parameters:
MA_length: Sets the length of the Simple Moving Average (SMA) used by the EA to calculate the channel.
Percent: Determines the percentage by which the SMA channel is shifted up and down.
TradeOnFriday: Controls whether the EA should participate in trading activities on Fridays.
MAtype: Specifies the type of price used in the SMA calculation.
slip: Defines the allowable slippage in pips for order execution.
Lots: Represents the trade size or position size in lots.
TakeProfit: Sets the desired profit target for each trade in pips.
Stoploss: Specifies the maximum allowable loss for all open positions combined in pips.
PipStep: Determines the number of pips against your position at which an additional position will be added to average out the losses.
IncreasementType: Determines how the PipStep is calculated for adding additional positions.

Currency Pair: EUR/USD

Time Frame: 1-hour (H1)
Firebird v0.60 is best suited for trading the EUR/USD currency pair with a minimal balance of $1,000 on the 1-hour (H1) time frame. Keep the default settings for MA_length (10), Percent (0.3), and PipStep (30). These settings have shown a good balance between risk and reward. Make sure to monitor your trades, especially during volatile market conditions.
