Hi All,
base on what I've learned from the posts in the past pages, according to a tight budged and a low risk appetite, I've decided for now to test the EA on demo account and start as soon as I've defined the strategy on cent account with only 2 pairs, EU and GU in 2 different configurations.
The 1st is quite safe and trades only Asia Session, disabling the EA on "red" news (the probability of unexpected high impact news are lower then during London or New York Session).
The 2nd is the same of the above but with the exception that is 24/h running.
My troubles and dubts arise when I have open positions, with a temporary loss (the EA is handling them) and the important news release is imminent (about 5 mins).
What do you do /would you do in this situation, please?

could you tell me please how do you handle your trades?
Do you close them all and let the EA open new posiotions after the announcement (maybe with a loss), or do you "only" disable the EA leaving it the task of returning to profit?

I close all of my trades down before the news. This version of the EA usually will close and not trade because it detects high impact data. But sometimes you'll have trades that were taken before the news and it won't close them.
By the time you get to high impact news, usually you've already profited by this point so you can just shut it all down.

I just noticed something in this EA.
You should have both options fast 1 and 2 set to true if you are over $20
and all three if you are over $30
for standard accounts it's $2000 and $3000
