I'm sharing with you this EA that I found that uses martingale. In the tests it was profitable, I hope you can test it better.

Hello, I would like to know if it is too risky, the martingale does not convince me. Perhaps there are less dangerous settings.

When trading using martingale EA, you need to close monitor your order, and preferably know when to exit. advisable to look at the bigger timeframe as the price direction so you know when to cut loss.

As I was testing dozens of EAs I pulled off a forum, the Budak Ubat v. 1.51 EA definitely garnered my focus. Just a quick suggestion to those fellow traders that are skeptical; monitor the H4 TF in a separate chart of the same pair with a good trend indicator. When the H4 trend is up, change the EA Position Direction to "Long only" and "Short only" when the H4 trend is down. My testing shows M1/M5/M15/M30 TF are best and only trade the top five volatile  pairs of the typical 28 pairs. You can use a free volatility tool at  https://www.mataf.net/en/forex/tools/volatility. I have attached the .ex4 file for my favorite trend indicator.

So far in testing (99% quality) on a MT4 Live server, the Win % is 64% and the Absolute DD is 51% of Net Profit. Average weekly Profit per pair, four TF, at .1 Lot is $2,484 USD. As we all know, testing may be nice, but Live results is what counts, which will probably be less.

Unfortunately, I can't find the source code for this Budak EA. so I can't add a "trend filter". So, you have to check the H4 chart every four hours or get alerts and manually change the EA Position Direction and close trades that are opposite to the trend. It is shocking to see the the huge increase in profitability when you are not using the "Long and Short" Position Direction. Trade with the H4 trend.

If you use the H4 trend idea with the top five volatile pairs (usually GBPNZD, GBPAUD, GBPCAD, GBPCHF, GBPJPY), EAs that did not work before for you, may work fine with this trend filter and changing Position Direction to "Long only" or "Short only" in the direction of the H4 trend with the top volatile pairs (average daily pip range). I run a new volatility report every Saturday for the last two week period, then filter the daily pip range from highest to lowest. The top five pairs are usually > 100 pips per day. I am shocked as I scan the hundreds of EAs I have on file, that were losers, are now profitable with the H4 trend Position Direction and only using the current top five volatile pairs.

I will start a few charts with the Budak EA on a live micro account next week. I will report back to this forum in a few weeks with Live results.
