How do you manage risk and avoid emotianal trading?
I was wondering if you have any tips, how do I steer clear of the usual newbie blunders, like keeping my risks in check and not letting my emotions call the shots? Any advice would be super helpful!

Before you even start, establish your risk management rules. Decide how much of your capital you're willing to risk per trade. A common approach is to risk no more than 1-2% of your account on a single trade. This helps keep losses manageable.
Always use stop-loss orders. They automatically close your trade at a pre-set level to prevent further losses. This is a lifesaver in volatile markets.
Similar to stop-losses, set take profit levels. This helps you lock in profits and avoid the greed of waiting for 'just a little more'.
Before trading, check your emotions. Feeling stressed, excited, or under pressure? Maybe take a step back. Emotional trading often leads to rash decisions.
Note down why you entered a trade, your strategy, and how you felt. Reviewing this can reveal patterns in your emotional trading and help improve your strategy.
The more you know, the more confident you'll be in your trading decisions. This reduces the tendency to make trades based on fear or excitement.
Use a demo account to practice without financial risk. This helps you get a feel for the market and your reactions to it.
New traders often think more trades equal more profits. Not true. Quality over quantity always wins.
