The EA checks your account type (normal or mini) and calculates an optimal lot size based on your risk preference.
It monitors existing open orders and ensures they are within your specified limits.
It identifies the right time to enter the market by analyzing the MACD indicator.
The EA offers options for setting Take Profit and Trailing Stop to lock in profits and minimize losses.
If conditions are met, it places Buy or Sell orders with the specified lot size.
The EA continually monitors open positions and adjusts Stop Loss levels to protect your gains.
It also offers an Account Protection feature, closing trades if your profit reaches a predefined level or if you hit a maximum loss.
Let´s break down the adjustable parameters:
TakeProfit: This parameter sets the desired profit level in pips (price movement). When the trade reaches this level of profit, the EA will automatically close the trade to secure your gains.
Lots: Lots determine the size of your trading position. It represents the number of units of the base currency you want to trade. For example, if you set it to 0.1, you're trading 0.1 lots or 10,000 units of the base currency.
InitialStop: This parameter lets you set an initial stop-loss level for your trades in pips. It acts as a safety net by limiting potential losses if the trade goes against you.
TrailingStop: Trailing stop is a dynamic stop-loss mechanism. It sets a distance in pips from the current price. If the trade moves in your favor, the stop-loss will follow it at this distance, locking in profits while allowing for potential further gains.
MaxLoss: MaxLoss is a risk management parameter. It defines the maximum allowable loss in your account's currency. If your cumulative losses reach or exceed this amount, the EA may close your open trades to limit further losses.
MaxTrades: This parameter sets the maximum number of trades that the EA can have open simultaneously. It helps control the number of active positions to manage risk effectively.
Pips: Pips determine the minimum price movement needed for the EA to consider opening a new trade. It helps filter out small price fluctuations that may not be worth trading.
SecureProfit: SecureProfit is a profit protection feature. When your total profit reaches or exceeds this specified amount, the EA may close all open trades to secure your gains.
AccountProtection: This binary parameter (0 or 1) enables or disables the Account Protection feature. When enabled (set to 1), it allows the EA to close trades when certain profit conditions are met.
OrderstoProtect: It works in conjunction with AccountProtection. It specifies the number of open trades at which the Account Protection feature should be activated.
ReverseCondition: This parameter is another binary choice (0 or 1). When set to 1, it reverses the trading conditions. For example, if it was set to buy under certain conditions, it will instead sell under those conditions, and vice versa.
EURUSDPipValue, GBPUSDPipValue, USDCHFPipValue, USDJPYPipValue: These parameters allow you to customize the pip value for different currency pairs. Pip value varies between currency pairs, and these settings let you adjust them accordingly.
StartYear, StartMonth, EndYear, EndMonth, EndHour, EndMinute: These parameters define the time frame in which the EA is allowed to trade. You can set a specific period by specifying the start and end years, months, and time of day.
mm: This parameter is for money management. When set to 1, it calculates the lot size based on a percentage of your account balance and risk preferences.
risk: If mm is set to 1, risk determines the percentage of your account balance that you're willing to risk on each trade.
AccountisNormal: This binary parameter (0 or 1) helps the EA determine whether your account type is normal or mini.
In my opinion, the EA would work best in a moderately volatile market, particularly on currency pairs like EURUSD, during active trading hours. The EA's strategy of targeting 15 pips with a 40-pip TakeProfit and 20-pip TrailingStop seems well-suited for capturing short-term price movements.
For optimal performance, consider using it on an account with a balance of around $1000 or more to manage risk effectively. Additionally, keep an eye on market conditions, especially MACD trends, as this EA relies on them to make trading decisions.
