thx bruno my broker is low spread with eur/usd 0.2-0.5 spread (low) commision of 0.8 so comes to about 1pip overall... so im good with low spread BUT now does this EA work? in forward test? have you tested it, had consistency in results?

bruno thx for sharing but im still unable to download due to less than 10 posts. I am new here.

backtest, yes i know it's tickscalper backtest will never give real result on tick scalpers.. because tickscalper base for open entry is volatile n speed of market. so tick scalpers can be profitable but need excellent(scripts)

i have been reading up other forums on ASSAR, biggest problem with EA people mentioned is that it trades only 4 digit brokers? on 5 digit broker the TP is  taken as .1 to .3 pips (in loss) is this a problem with this version of EA or no? thx

impressive! had to set risk to 0.1 since there were too many "not enough money" errors with higher lot sizes

isn't the winning rate so low because SL is taken for order closure in profit?

profit factor is quite high, though

guys, understand something common.. there is 2 things to a recipe for holy grail 

1) good (high probably) entry maker - 2 pips made soon as entry made (without DD)
2) trade manager - we can use scripts like Ronz SL-TP to control them

how many pips we need to make 2pips?  how can we make 2 pips? think about it... doesn't sound to hard right? manually im sure we know how to make 2 pips BUT if we can find an EA which makes 2 pips consistently on open, then we have holy grail already.  usually such are tickscalpers but not all tickscalpers are great because of hyper activity can give bad signals too.. so for tickscalpers we need good filters to make quality entries..  if u think of EAs like MDP/WayGrow/WOC and many others all were tickscalpers n had its good days...but eventually failed why? either broker discovered the loops or they lacked trade mgmt.

we just need to mix/match the trade mgmt tools to perfect it.

i feel really bad for misty (honorable user) who sacrificed her account to test this EA..hope we can recover every cent back..

Question to all.. do you know any EA that makes atleast 2 pips on entry (good entry maker)
if know of any such EA present forth, we'll turn it into holy grail in no time, now that we know the recipe to holy grail..

PS: whats great about ASSAR v8? the fact it's a good entry maker on 15m? 

i noticed people used ASSAR on 1m and it was trading every bar? this could be because the logic is looking into the "size" of candle or it's looking to trade direction of every new high/low made. On 15 minute it allows EA to note the size of candle(s) new highs on 15M will be 1-2 but on minute chart new high will be every new tick..  u know market is not going 1 sided so its presenting false signals on 1M.. i say this without seeing FT/BT. I know the nature of tick scalpers from experience.

to be honest, ASSAR V8 is nothing special other than its making somewhat decent entries ..The real magic if anything is the trade mgmt/script.

Yes, i agree we need a good management tool like ronz. That's why it's in use every single day on my server. You can "holy grail" any EA with ronz, as long as the EA has over 80% accuracy. I've tried my best with some of these EA's, but they have horrible entry or they are martingale so they won't possibly win. If they do, it's for a very short period of time.

The best strategy to use with ronz is a scalper method. ASSAR is a perfect EA, it only trades when there is liquidity. If there is no liquidity that means the broker will have to take the other side of your bet. And we all know what happens when they do that. 

So with the incorporated volatility meter, it saves you from losing quite a bit. The orders will max out at 1000.00, so if you try that type of lot in a period where there is nothing happening then the market will move against you. There is no other option there unless we use ASSAR. With ASSAR, you have to use the 15m because of the settings for the envelope indicator that's built in. They set it to 0.07 deviation which works best on the 15m. The 1m will be inaccurate and less trades. This is what i've learned from trading live. 

There is another EA i'm working on right now. I plan on going live this week with it. It's the Scalper Paling Joss EA. This thing actually trades in the direction of the candles/bars during high volatility, or a volume spike. It rides the big moves which seems very nice. I'm going to " holy grail " this EA live and see how the market responds to me. I'll give you guys the results on that later.

You've already seen my results from ASSAR live so you know it's a working holy grail. Nuff said there.
